In order to make their entire model lineup more capable in the face of inclement weather or worn-down streets, Mazda has announced that each SUV in their lineup will come standard with all-wheel drive.
The 2022 Mazda CX-9 is of course included in this announcement. So, the 3-row SUV is expected to come standard with the famed i-Activ AWD® that you could previously only include on higher trim options. In addition to the adaptive i-Activ AWD®, Off-road Traction Assist will inspire confidence even as you make your way across a dirt road or a rocky trail.
While the 2022 Mazda CX-9 may showcase some new interior colors or textures, one thing we know for certain is that the SUV will retain its inherent usability and customizability.
As with previous versions of the SUV, you’ll be able to quickly flatten the second and third row seats if you require more room for cargo. The actual seating in each row will be spacious enough to support passengers with ease.
Certain trim levels will also imbue the interior with typical Mazda luxuries, such as soft-touch materials like leather and an intuitive touchscreen placed in the middle of the dashboard.
